The Water Rides

Tidal Wave

Tidal WaveTidal Wave was the first high class ride to hit Thorpe Park and what a ride it is. Although its idea is simple enough, sit in a boat, go up the hill, turn a corner, go back down and make a big splash. It makes such a big splash when it hits the water the ride experience is as amazing and there's no doubt to why Thorpe Park decided to call it Tidal Wave.

Loggers Leap

Loggers LeapLog Flume rides are a style of ride that will live on into the foreseeable future. Despite other rides like Tidal Wave coming along featuring bigger drops with even bigger splash's, nothings better than on a hot summers day sitting in the log having a gentle ride around the track with a couple of drops to keep you entertained. Especially as there drops that will only get you a bit wet (well quite wet but not soaked) so you can quickly dry off and continue with your day.

Rumba Rapids

Rumba RapidsGreat on a nice summers day the rapids ride provides a nice calm boat ride over some bumpy water that will occasionally splash over the side of the rapids boat getting the passengers wet. As rapids style rides go, Rumba Rapids isn't the best in the world but it does contain all the usual elements, Waterfall, Rapids section and Sprinklers just to ensure you do get wet.

Depth Charge

Depth ChargeDepth Charge has to be one of the most fun rides in the park, it may be simple, old and meant for children but its just a fun ride to go on. Sitting in a boat with one other person and then sliding down a big bumpy slide, getting wet on the way is just pure fun. Plus there's the added element of seeing who out of the 4 slides got the furthest.
