There was something about the Rapids that I used to love. The Yellow rapids boats with the handle in the middle, indicating that this was going to be a bumpy ride through rocky water, even though it was to far away to actually hold onto and there wasn't really any need.
Then the ride was changed to Ribena Rumba Rapids and those boats were gone. In there place came plastic things with no proper seats and no pointless handle. I admit sponsorship is a great way to fund themeing a ride and without it there wouldn't have been any real point in changing the ride, and overall the ride is better but I still don't like those boats.
So the ride now is the same general layout as its always been, you sit in the rapids boat bouncing around over bumpy water and through a building containing waterfalls. At the edges of the ride are sprinklers but wether their turned on or not seems to be quite random.
