Welcome to Calypso Quay the sunniest part of the island. Here we have a volcano that has been dormant since 2003 (when it first appeared). We have beautiful tree's and buildings, why not get a feast at Pizza Hut's all you can eat or ride on the Rapids.
Calypso Quay has to be my favorite part of Thorpe Park and it has seen much expansion over the past few years. With the Introduction of Detonator the intensifying tower drop ride, a re-theme of Thunder River to become Rumba Rapids and lets not forget the 2003 introduction of Nemesis Inferno inverted coaster complete with volcano!!! Not only does it have these great rides but it is themed around a tropical island so if I were to sum up the place in two word, pure fun would be the best.
